Participation in the Cluster-Meeting of GAI
The LOGROTIN team has participated in the Cluster-Meeting of the German Archaeological Institute, held in Caceres and Logrosán during the 28th and 29th October. The meeting, coordinated by M. Kunst, has assembled a group of specialists in Prehistoric Archaeometallurgy carrying out various projects in the Iberian Peninsula, Europe and Asia. In the first working session, at the Museum of Cáceres, the most relevant results of these projects were presented, including the invited lecture "The Protohistoric exploitation of cassiterite in Cerro de San Cristobal de Logrosán (Cáceres)" given by Alonso Rodríguez Díaz. The next day, the group visited the archaeological site of San Cristóbal and the Costanaza mine in Logrosán.
